Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly planning a major return to the spotlight, beginning with a highly anticipated performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, told CBS Mornings that the 55-year-old rapper and music mogul is determined to reconnect with both his family and fans once he is released. “He’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden — and I said I’ll be there,” Agnifilo revealed. The attorney added that Combs expressed a deep desire to reunite with his mother and all those who love and miss him. “I believe he wants to get out of jail and rebuild a loving and present relationship with his seven children,” Agnifilo said.
When asked whether Combs plans to return to music, Agnifilo admitted, “No — honestly, he hasn’t. But one thing he did say is that he plans to be back at Madison Square Garden.” He went on to describe Combs as a man who always strives for something “exceptional, demanding and challenging.”
This statement comes as Combs’ legal team is said to be exploring the possibility of a presidential pardon. Despite this, the rapper remains incarcerated after being convicted last July on two counts of transporting individuals for illicit purposes. He was acquitted of more serious charges such as racketeering and sex trafficking. Combs is currently awaiting sentencing.
